Structure your ad messaging around specific time-based challenges with clear progression markers. Use direct call-outs with specific start dates and highlight the progression timeline ("one week you'll feel it, two weeks you'll see it") to create urgency and set expectations.

"It's like call out. Uh, which is like, "Bro, on Monday, uh, January, or on Saturday, February 1st, we are starting the calisthenics or pilates, or yoga challenge," and another strong message: "In one week you will feel it, in two weeks you will see it, in three weeks you will form," and so on."

Sylvain's take:

I’ve been seeing this kind of ads more and more as well…Perfect for the New Year!

And below are some easy-to-create text walls that add on the progress over time.

Video is generally the dominant format, but static images can outperform for certain verticals like fasting, meal plans, mental health, and personal style content.

"Video is the main format for many funnels, but there are some specific categories where still images, static image ads are working pretty well, like fasting or meal plan or mental health, for example, and, uh, personal style as well."

Balance your creative testing strategy between iterating on proven winners (10% success rate) and exploring completely new angles (1-5% success rate). While new concepts have lower success rates, they're essential for long-term stability as top performers eventually burn out.

"Success rate depends. It depends on, uh, what you iterate. If you iterate, uh, like test different iterations of top performers, you will have, uh, 10% success rate. If you test a lot of new angles and approaches, you will definitely have lower success rate, but long-term at most stable, because at some stage, uh, top performer will burn out, so you should replace it."

Sylvain's take:

We’ve heard this advice before of course but it was interesting to read these expected success rates. I wish there was more data on the topic (also based on monthly spend)!
